In an ever-changing, increasingly complex world, it’s more important than ever that our nation’s youth develop problem-solving abilities to make sense of information, and know how to gather and evaluate evidence to make decisions. These are the kinds of skills that today’s university students develop in science, technology, engineering, and math, including computer science—disciplines collectively known as STEM/CS. That’s why we enjoy supporting events like San Diego State University’s STEM Career Fair where we get to meet recent and soon-to-be graduates in the STEM fields. We’ll be participating in SDSU’s upcoming STEM Career Fair on October 19 from 10:00am to 2:30pm on the lookout for people interested in internships that can ultimately lead to career opportunities. SDSU’s event is free, but requires pre-registration.
