SAN MARCOS, Calif. – August 2, 2022 – Brightworks Technology wrapped up its Annual National Sales Strategy Meeting this past week. Our U.S. National Sales Directors presented their strategic and tactical plans for the second half to management and the internal sales/customer care support staff. The team also conducted a Manufacturer’s rep review over the past 12 months. Daniel Ma, chairman and founder of parent company Group Intellect Power Technology, attended the meetings and shared with the team news regarding the Company’s double-digit growth in 2021, despite customer softening from COVID-related effects in consumer markets worldwide.
Ma attributed the Company’s global growth to due to several factors:
- Outstanding supply chain success
- Customers shifting product production and business from Chinese competitors to our operations in Vietnam
- Overall growth in North American business from the Brightworks business unit
Brightworks’ President, Robert L. Carl shared vision and objectives for the second half and strategic plans for 2023, given the recently announced acquisition of STUFF Technology. The group worked on tactical plans, including trade shows, rep expansion, and new product roadmaps related to the Company’s new PD3.0 product line, which had an international market preview this spring.
In addition, the team celebrated the acquisition with STUFF founder Henry Ma at an offsite function. Brother Daniel Ma, Group Intellect founder and chairman, was also honored by the Company with a lifetime achievement award for the shipment of more than 350 million power adapters worldwide since founding the Company over 33 years ago.
